We are celebrating here at Westcars of Tiverton, as the team has scooped a top accolade and been rewarded for all their hard work with the Motability Car Scheme.
The accolade is part of a programme of awards, launched by Motability Operations, to recognise and reward outstanding customer service provided by local Motability dealerships.
The Dealer Awards are judged on how a dealership delivers the scheme to customers, which is assessed by customer feedback and reviews of their performance. All winners of the quarterly awards are automatically entered into the national awards, held annually, which will be announced at the beginning of next year.
Retail Operator at our Tiverton dealership, Steve Puttock, said: “We’re delighted to have won the Regional Motability Dealer Award. Motability is renowned for its high standards and we’re incredibly proud to be recognised for our dedication to working in partnership with the scheme. With over ten years’ experience in Motability, we look forward to maintaining our award-winning level of customer service and welcoming many more Motability customers through our doors.”
Peter Wilson, General Manager for Dealer Relations at Motability Operations, adds: “The focus of the awards is to thank our dealer partners for providing a consistently positive customer service experience, particularly when they are often the first point of contact for our customers.
“It’s important to recognise the efforts of the talented individuals who go above and beyond when representing the Motability Scheme, and highlight those who are setting a great example of how to do it well, like Westcars of Tiverton.”
The Motability Scheme enables disabled drivers to use part, or all, of their disability allowance to lease a brand new car. The retailer’s Motability services include vehicle adaptations, aftersales service and access to other Motability products, to ensure worry-free motoring. There are no waiting lists, credit checks or assessment procedures to go through. Customers don’t even need a drivers’ licence; they can nominate two drivers, meaning parents or carers can apply to the scheme on behalf of a child aged three years or more.
